THEME: WE ARE ALL FOR JESUS
God uses several channels to ensure that the Goodnews of salvation reaches the ends of the earth. All these channels are but instruments or better put stewards of the Gospel. This is exactly what the preachers of the Word are. They are not the central focus of the Gospel, Jesus is.
However, often we find ourselves divided along thin lines within the community of believers. We decide which minister is our man and which is not, hence, the Church becomes a battle field. The situation is worse in the political sphere and governmental parastatals. We see every now and then the struggle for supremacy among political elites in various communities; the struggle for supremacy among chiefs. This has resulted severally to violence, the spilling of blood and inadvertently lost of lives.
St. Paul addresses this problem today. I am for Paul; I am for Apollo St. Paul tells us is foolishness. We are all for Jesus. Though the Ministers are different, though the political elites and leaders are many, though we ourselves are of different families, backgrounds and careers. The central focus is Jesus crucified and the ultimate goal is salvation. Let us bear in mind today that united we stand, divided we fall. Together we can move a mountain. We are all for Jesus.
PRAYER: Lord, that we may all be one. Amen!
GOOD MORNING AND GOD BLESS!
